Food for Thought
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has named our agency one of three winners in its “Partners for Humanity” initiative. Our pro-bono ad, “Is There Dinner Tonight,” for the Hunger Task Force is a stark reminder that while many of us fret over what to have for dinner, there are others who wonder what their next meal will be. While any win is an honor, we are particularly thankful for the reward. The Hunger Task Force received $1,000 and a commemorative plaque for having run one of the year’s most effective campaigns.
“Partners for Humanity” is an annual program that taps the region’s top creative ad agencies to create pro-bono ad campaigns for non-profit organizations who normally do not have access to these resources. Judged by a national panel of artists, the ad campaigns are rated for effectiveness at conveying the message and spirit of the non-profit. This year’s entries were published in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, its online publication, JSOnline.com, and on its social media pages to raise awareness and advocacy for the various causes.
