Steve Kabelowsky is New Content Strategist
Technology moves pretty fast. Platypus Advertising + Design has made it a practice of knowing how to lead organizations through the various changes. The Pewaukee-based firm is proud to add Steve Kabelowsky as a Content Strategist to its team. Kabelowsky will use his master storytelling skills to help guide interactive engagement and community outreach through social media on emerging technology.
An expert in digital media, Kabelowsky says the ways in which people interact and consume information has evolved, and the landscape continues to be in flux.
“The impact of a well-told story hasn’t changed, however the ways in which the story is delivered, and the expected level of interaction continues to change,” adds Kabelowsky. “I’m still learning what new technology has in store, and I’m excited to work with others to tell their story in a layered way in our social media-driven world. It’s the same word-of-mouth, just in a different way.”
Kabelowsky has been the driving force behind WISN.com, the Milwaukee ABC affiliate’s Web site, and launched and coordinated the TV station’s digital department. His career has taken him through various creative and content roles in newspapers, magazines, radio, television and the Internet. The Emmy award winner has been on the frontier of blogs, podcasts, e-mail newsletter blasts, text messaging, user-generated content campaigns, and various social media and traditional media Web sites.
